Prophecy and Current Events

Saturday Night January 4, 1997

In worship, everyone celebrating, clapping, yelling - in praise to the Lord, I was forced on the floor in intercession, praying in the Spirit, Spiritual warfare intercession. I saw demons coming against Faith Chapel to get to the people. At the end of worship we were singing the chorus on the banner, I was longing to see God's glory but instead of the glory, I saw th blood, the blood of Jesus came flowing out of heaven falling on the roof of Faith Chapel continuing to flow down the roof, down the sides covering the windows. The Lord told me the blood of Jesus was protecting us against the attacks even when we are oblivious to what's coming against us. "Do not be afraid to go forward doing battle - the blood will be your protection."

After worship, I sat in the chair and made many attempts to straighten my back and lift my head to look up but each time the muscles in my back contracted bending my back downward so I was bent over in the chair looking downward to the floor. After many attempts to straighten my back, I asked the Lord what He was trying to tell me. The Lord said:

"If you really want to see My glory, you will only see it with your face to the ground, in intercession. You will not see the glory with your face raised in praise. You must be bent over with your face to the ground"

I was unable to straighten my back or neck through the whole message - not until the end of the service after I had spoken to the body what the Lord had said to me.

Sunday Morning January 5, 1997

I was reading in Genesis 13:14-17 when I read vs 17 "Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you." The Lord said to me we were to walk the length and breadth of Syracuse with our head down, in intercession - not in praise -claiming Syracuse for God, breaking the bonds of oppression over Syracuse.

Walk Route 11 North & South - Genesee Street East & West

North boundary - Route 31 South boundary - Intersection of Route 11A East boundary - Intersection East Genesee Street and Erie Blvd. East West boundary - Route 173 - Onondaga Road

Churches from the Central New York Renewal and Friday's pastor's prayer asked to march - different churches from different denominations. Start at the outer boundaries and walk toward Syracuse claiming Syracuse for God. Meet at Hendricks Chapel.

Mayor Roy Bernardi should come to Hendricks Chapel and say a prayer over Syracuse similar to the prayer Melchizedek prayed over Abram (Genesis 14:19-20) "Blessed be Abram by God Most high Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God most high who delivered your enemies into your hands" proclaiming God's victory over the oppression over Syracuse. The victory has been won by God. Syracuse now belongs to God.

The walk should take place before the Six Days Ablaze

The Christian radio stations should be contacted and asked if they would announce the walk claiming Syracuse for God and asking any other church body with the same desire to join.

The newspaper and television stations in Syracuse should be contacted telling them about the walk (what - when - why). The Lord said to leave the rest to Him. Contacting the news media would be making a formal declaration of war against Satan.

The Lord showed me the Jewish temples in Syracuse and told me the Rabbi's should be asked to join the walk to claim Syracuse for God.

"Watch and pray, therefore, that you would be counted worthy to escape the judgment that is coming upon the earth and be able to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36).
