In to Enemy Territory You Must Go!

Art Work by Bill Cristman, (c) 1993

Trust Me and Obey. Trust not in the council of men. For My ways are foolishness to them. They have become wise in their own minds, but they are perishing because of unbelief.

You face an entrenched foe that has hemmed you in on all sides. Into battle you must go as Joshua did in the days of old. The battle is real, the land needs to be taken. Beat your plowshares in to swords and march into enemy territory. Fear not. Take courage for the battle is won. Remember the 10 spies who brought back the evil report. The battle was won for them too, but they didn't see it. They did not walk in faith by what I had spoken. They doubted and never regained the land from the enemy.

Never doubt or waiver. Pay no heed to well meaning Christians, but search the scriptures continually and you shall find the Truth when you seek it diligently, with all you heart, mind and spirit.

Doubt is the enemy's strongest weapon. When received you will be powerless to prevail. Remember I go with you. I have my purposes in everything that I do. XXXXX will be set free, but in the manner I have chosen. My ways and not your ways. Soon you will understand. Trust Me and Obey my ways. Do not be swept aside by vain philosophies of this world. When I was in the world I healed and delivered everyone who came to me with a repentant heart; faith even as small as a mustard seed is all that is required, but doubt is the poison of fools and those who are vain and proud in their own eyes. They are instruments of the Evil One.

Continue in what I have given you and be ye not swayed by men. Seek only my council, for the scoffers will come. They serve and entrenched foe. Yield not to the desires or will of men, but seek my perfect council and together we shall prevail. Consider my words, for they shall stand and my council shall last forever.

This world is quickly passing away. And all shall be consumed that can be consumed. Do not tarry any longer, but seek the place that I have prepared for you. Soon it shall rise before your eyes. Grasp it and do not delay or doubt.

Inaction is the tool of the enemy. March with the things and weapons of war that I have given you and you shall be victorious.

Persevere in the face of adversity and fear not that you shall prevail. Many shall come and rise up against you. Soon they shall see my Glory. It rises up before them. They doubt my power to heal and deliver. They are like "Doubting Thomas" who doubted until he saw. Seeing they shall believe, yet blessed are those that do not see yet believe. This is the faith of your forefathers who sought me with all their hearts, minds and spirits. Seek also my perfect will for your life and I will reveal it to you as surely as the angels in heaven revealed and heralded my coming upon the earth. Do not tarry my son, but prepare. Study and learn of me. I will guide you and teach you my ways. Take heed of my instruction.

Do you trust God enough to obey, even when you can't see whether it will make a difference in the natural. Remember that God's ways are not man's ways. God's ways are perfect and far above what we are able to grasp. For now we only see through a glass darkly--but when perfection comes, then we shall see clearly. So for now, we must walk by faith and not by sight. We must have confidence in Him who is able to accomplish far above all we could ever ask or hope for--He will accomplish His will in His own timing and in His own way.

Yes, there is safety in a multitude of counselors, but before you seek their council, do you consult with the Wonderful Counselor whose council will stand forever? God is not a man that He should lie, so trust Him and be obedient. Ask Him to open and shut doors for you. Ask Him to confirm His will to you and He will be faithful to do so. God's ways often appear as foolishness to those who are perishing. When Jesus sent the disciples out two by two, he instructed them to take nothing with them, no money, no provisions--foolishness to the world, but trust and an example of their faith in action. When Naiman was told by the prophet to wash seven times in the Jordan river to be healed of leprosy, how did Naaman respond? He counted God's council given through the prophet as foolishness. But when he finally obeyed, he was miraculously healed. How many opportunities for have we missed because we reacted to God's leading with are minds, and not with heart based faith Him. Always remember that there is a way which seems right to a man, but it is the way of death. Seek God's way and always pray for wisdom and guidance which God will graciously give you.

When confronted with a problem, do you immediately run to a book, or to your pastor, or to another person in your life? Or do you turn to the Author and Finisher of your faith. Are you quick to consult the so-called experts in a field, but never give consideration to the living Word of God. Remember, Jesus is your friend and your brother, can you not trust Him for good council? Beware of those who operate in a spirit of pride. They have become wise in their own eyes and are perishing because of unbelief. But, do you believe God at his word? His word says that Jesus appeared to destroy all the works of the devil and that he came to set the captives free. God changes not. So do you believe that God heals today? Or do you merely have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof?

Although you face an entrenched foe that has hemmed you in on all sides, you must go into the battle as Joshua did in the days of old. The battle is real and the ground that you have given to the devil, needs to be retaken. Remember Peter when he sinned, Jesus told him that Satan had demanded his right to sift Peter like wheat, but Jesus stood in the gap and prayed for Peter. Do you stand in the gap for anyone? "The eyes of the Lord go to and fro throughout the world looking for someone to stand in the gap." James tells us to pray for one another and to confess our sins to one another so our healing may come quickly. Do we do it? When you are sick James tells us that we should call on the elders of the church to be anointed with oil and then the prayer of faith will heal the sick. Do we do it? Be obedient to God's word and you will see His glory rise before you. The land needs to be taken. Beat your plowshares in to swords and march into enemy territory. Fear not and take courage for the battle is won. Remember the 10 spies who brought back the evil report. The battle was won for them too, but they did not see it. They did not walk in faith by what the Lord had spoken. They doubted and never regained the land from the enemy. Therefore, never doubt the Lord or waiver in your faith, especially if well meaning Christians do not believe as you do. But search the scriptures continually for your answers and you shall find the Truth when you seek it diligently, with all you heart, mind and spirit. Remember that doubt is the enemy's strongest weapon and when you received it, you will be powerless to prevail. James warned us that if we doubt and waver in our faith, we should expect to receive nothing from the Lord. So go into battle properly prepared with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6) and you will prevail--fear not, but remember that God goes with you and He has his purpose in everything that He does. Do not expect that God is always going to bring deliverance in the same way. It will always be in the manner He has chosen. Sometimes it is mud, other times it is spit, sometimes it is my faith, some times it is the faith of others and sometimes we will not understand what happens this side of eternity; but deliverance is always in the manner God has chosen. God's ways and not our ways. Don't try to put God into the mold of your experience. Do not limit the Holy One of Israel through your unbelief. Simply trust God, seek His perfect way and be obedient and stay the course-- be careful not to be swept aside by the vain philosophies of this world. Be careful what and who you listen to. Recognize, that just because you or someone you know has not witnessed or personally experienced God's miraculous healing power, that this does not mean that God does not heal today. When Jesus was in the world, He healed and delivered everyone who came to Him with a repentant heart; faith, even as small as a mustard seed, was all that was required.

But doubt is the poison of fools and those who are vain and proud in their own eyes--they are instruments of the Evil One. So trust only in God-- for he never changes and His council shall last forever. He will never fail you. So will you not trust Him at His word?

Therefore continue in what God has called you to do, prepare and purify yourself through the washing of the water of the Word, and do not be swayed by men. Seek only God's council and do not be discouraged when the scoffers come. They serve and entrenched foe so be careful not to yield to the desires or will of men, but seek God's perfect council and together with God you will prevail.

This world is quickly passing away and all shall be consumed that can be consumed. Therefore, do not tarry any longer, but seek the place that God has prepared for you. And when you seek it, it shall soon rise before your eyes. Grasp it and do not delay or doubt, for inaction is the tool of the enemy, but march with the weapons of war that God has given you and you shall be victorious.

"Watch and pray, therefore, that you would be counted worthy to escape the judgment that is coming upon the earth and be able to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36).
